Since 2019, QuakeLab made a commitment to redistribute a percent of its revenue (not profit) to grassroots orgs, Indigenous land and water defenders, and mutual aid funds.

We are now introducing an ‘Indigenous reparations charge' to all government clients, which we will directly donate to Indigenous community funds and nations.

We can hope that historical and present day perpetrators of colonialism will commit to efforts like #LandBack and reparations. But we know we cannot depend on that hope alone. So for now, we create our own avenues for reparations.

We encourage other for-profit organizations to get creative in embedding Indigenous reconciliation measures into their policies.
